Alumni Careers

The study at the EUSP was an exceptional importance step in the career for most of the graduates. 
Many of them work in the different countries’ government organizations, Russian and Western business companies, as well as international organizations and mass-media. EUSP graduates serve at the leading Russian and international companies, such, as ABN AMRO Bank NV-London, Alfa-bank, Promstroibank, NAUFOR, the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Russian Federation, The St. Petersburg office of the Representative of the President of the Russian Federation. 

Today our graduates successfully pursue their careers in global organizations and companies, such as the US State Department, the UN, the European Commission, the OSCE, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, International Organization for Migration, The New York Times, Alfa Bank, Bloomberg, Shell, TNK-BP, among others. Others have entered Ph.D. programs at Cambridge University, Oxford University, Princeton University, LSE, University of Washington, University of Chicago, Heidelberg University and many more.

More than half of the graduates are engaged in teaching and research activities. These are the highest level professors and researchers, who have a successful career both in Russia and abroad. Many of the EUSP graduates have then applied for PhD programs at world leading universities (such as Oxford University, New York University, Chicago University, European University Institute). Currently more than 100 EUSP graduates had defended their PhD thesis.

Resume-book

You can observe some of our students' and amuni's careers in the new section "Resume-book" that was created to help our students and alumni in job placement and in searching for each other's contacts. This section has been in constuction yet, still we alreaady hae 130 CVs there. We hope with the lapse of time to see most of the university's students and alumni there. 

Keep in touch

There is a variety of ways in which alumni stay in touch with and support the University after graduation. Informal and formal networks of alumni together form the international EUSP alumni network, which collectively strives to connect graduates living and working across the globe, as well as to strengthen their relations with the university via country representatives, networking events, fundraising, and reunions. A vibrant and responsive network can provide great benefits to alumni in terms of social support and professional development. A strong alumni community shows current students that the EUSP experience continues beyond graduation.

Some of the informal network is organized in one way or another over the internet, such as the group on Facebook, while others are more local and based on personal acquaintance with each other.

Alumni Office

The Alumni Office appeared in EUSP in 2011. One of its most important tasks is to help alumni to keep in touch with each other and EUSP.
