The European University at St. Petersburg is the only university in Russia which offers fully-fledged international study programs in the medium of English to students from North America, Western Europe and other parts of the world. We specialize in teaching in Russian and Eurasian studies with concentrations in politics, energy issues, history, culture and society, and art history.
Beside international programs with instruction in English there are numerous programs taught in Russian and partially in English at our five departments:
- Department of Anthropology courses faculty
- Department of History courses faculty
- Department of Art History courses faculty
- Department of Political Sciences and Sociology courses faculty
- Department of Economics courses faculty
Our international students are welcome to choose extra courses from the courses taught at the departments.
In addition to regular courses there is a great number of lectures given by guest lecturers from different universities in Russia and abroad every semester. You can always find announcements about them in our news.
