European University has five departments:
Of course, each department has its own educational profile, but one thing remains the same. The study process in the EUSP is focused on the active use of the innovative forms of study. As a rule, each department offers its students several subfields of specialization, and forms the curriculum on the basis of these subfields. Despite the existence of these formalized subfields, however, each student chooses his or her own individual plan of study, after a consultation with his scientific advisor.
This way of learning makes possible to obtain not only basic and general knowledge within a specialization – so as history, art history, political science, sociology, economics, or ethnology - but a unique set of knowledge and skills which is required exactly for the research as well.
In the EUSP courses are taught by staff professors who achieved significant success in their field as well as an international recognition. Beside that at every department there are lectures and special courses which are taught by guest professors from Russian and foreign universities.
