In 2008 Kone Foundation awarded the grant to the EUSP for scholarships payable to Finnish students wishing to enroll to IMARES and study in St. Petersburg for one year.
Eligibility: Finnish citizenship, BA or its equivalent
Competitive advantage: strong background in Russian (Slavic) studies and in one of the following disciplines: political science, history, sociology, economics, anthropology.
The Kone Foundation Scholarship to EUSP includes 13,660 Euro awarded individually to eligible and successful applicants and covers the following items

Each applicant should fill in two applications: one for IMARES available on “how to apply” page and a separate Kone Foundation Scholarship for EUSP application available here (Word 41KB).
Both applications and accompanying materials should arrive at IMARES Office not later than
